Badges and stickers
You can print stickers and make badges for your group at the Resource Centre.
Stickers
You can use our laser copier to print stickers for your group.
You can print round stickers that are 50mm in diameter (15 per A4 page), 37mm in diameter (35 per A4 page), 25mm in diameter (70 per A4 page), or you can print A4 size stickers and then cut them down to the size you want.
Our stickers are available in 3 finishes: waterproof (A4 sheets only), glossy or matt. The prices are in our price list.
We have templates available for the round stickers. These are in Microsoft Publisher. If you don’t have this, you can come to the Resource Centre and use our computers to design your stickers, or hire our laptop. If you have already designed your stickers, all you need to bring is an image of your design, (a JPEG, TIFF or PNG file). You can put it in the template when you get here.

If you plan to design A4 size stickers, bear in mind that our laser printer puts a 6mm border around the page, and that it will be easiest to peel the stickers from their backing paper if each sticker includes part of the edge of the page. For more advice about laying out several copies of artwork on an A4 page, see our information on flyers.
Badges
At the Resource Centre we have badge machines that you can use to make badges for your group. You can hire them out or use them here at the centre. We have machines to make badges in three sizes: 55mm diameter, 38mm diameter and 25mm diameter.
Badges cost:
- 55mm: 18p per badge
- 38mm: 14p per badge
- 25mm: 12p per badge
Click on the equipment tab above to find out about our badge machines or to make a booking.
Badge templates
If you are making a lot of badges to sell or use for a campaign, you need to design and print the artwork to go on them. The easiest way to do this is to use our templates. These are in Microsoft Publisher. If you don’t have this, you can come to the Resource Centre and use our computers to lay out your badges. All you need to bring is an image of your badge design, (a JPEG, TIFF or PNG file).
These templates have “cutter guidelines” on them. Our badge machines all come with circular cutters to enable you to cut circles easily. The cutter guidelines make it easier to cut your designs out accurately.
- 25mm badges template
- 38mm badge template
- 55mm badge template (Badge machine 2 and 3)
- 55 mm badge template (Badge machine 1)
(Badge machine 1 has a different template from the others because the cutter is a slightly different size. We will tell you which badge machine you have booked when you make your booking).
We do have templates available without cutter guidelines, which fit more badges per sheet, and templates which allow you to put more than one design on the page. Contact us if you would like us to send these to you.
Once you have designed your artwork you will need to print it before you can make your badges. Most groups use our higher quality laser printer to print artwork for their badges.
