Mailings
Your group may need to produce information sheets, letters or meeting papers from time to time. You can use our print room to print single and double sided papers, and to collate them together into the packs you need to distribute them in.
Which machine should I use?
All of our printing machines can print in black ink on white or coloured paper, single or double sided. The machine that is best for you to use will depend on how many copies of each document you need to print.
If you are printing A4 single sided sheets on 80g paper, it is cheapest to use the laser printer, unless you are printing more than about 100 copies of the same document, in which case you should use a copyprinter.
For double sided printing, use a copyprinter if you are printing more than 60 copies of the same document.
We have paper available in a range of colours. If you need more than 500 sheets of a particular colour it is a good idea to let us know in advance, so that we can make sure we have it in stock when you come in.
Colour logos and diagrams
You might have bits of colour in your mailing, even if it is predominantly black and white. Talk to us about whether you could use the spot colour capability of our copyprinters to add colour to your document cheaply, or whether your design will work best in full colour.
Can the pages be collated/stapled automatically?
Our laser printer can collate and staple multi-page documents during printing. If you use a copyprinter to do your printing, you can use our booklet maker to collate and staple afterwards.
Our booklet maker can collate single sheets into piles for putting in envelopes. It can also fold them in half, corner staple them or side staple them. If you would like to use the booklet maker, make sure you book a slot on it as well as on a print machine.

Support with publicity and printing
At the Resource Centre we can help groups to produce publicity and stationery, and provide administrative support.
