Aims of Fund

The fund’s current focus is on supporting organisations working with heritage to adapt and respond to changes brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic. In general, the fund aims to enable communities to understand, value and share their heritage to bring people together, inspire pride in communities and boost investment in local economies.

Who can apply

Not-for-profit organisations. Your group must have a constitution and bank account.

How much and what can you apply for

£3,000-£10,000

Their priorities for 2021-22 are for projects that:

  • promote inclusion and involve a wider range of people (a mandatory outcome)
  • boost the local economy
  • encourage skills development and job creation
  • support wellbeing
  • create better places to live, work and visit
  • improve the resilience of organisations working in heritage

How to apply

You will need to register on their website to access an application form. Detailed guidance notes are available to you as you go through the application form.

Deadlines for application

There are no deadlines. You can apply at any time. They will assess your application within 8 weeks.
