Grants available for: Health and wellbeing related community activities in selected neighbourhoods in Brighton & Hove

Aims of Fund

This funding is for groups which meet any of the following health priorities:

  • Healthy Eating
  • Active Living
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing
  • Ageing Well
  • Maintaining health on a low income
  • Raising awareness about key health messages (e.g. on smoking, alcohol or sexual health)

Who can apply

Groups in the following areas:

  • Bevendean
  • Coldean
  • Craven Vale
  • East Brighton
  • Hangleton & Knoll
  • Hollingbury
  • Hollingdean
  • Moulsecoomb
  • Pankhurst Area
  • Portslade
  • Tarner & Eastern Rd
  • West Hove
  • Woodingdean

The limit is £500 per project.

Deadlines for application

The fund opens once a year, and there are different deadlines depending on the area. Applications are closed for 2021 in all areas except Hangleton & Knoll, which is rolling and has no specific deadline.
