Asda Green Token Giving

Grants available for: not for profit organisations
Size of grants given: Up to £500
No deadlines

Aims of Fund

To support local charities, projects or schools nominated and voted by shoppers at an Asda store in the same area.

Who can apply

Local charities, community groups, projects and schools. They must be nominated first, and shoppers vote for their preferred group/cause.

How much and what can you apply for

Once you have been nominated and put forward for voting in a local store, shoppers vote for your group/cause. Once voting has closed, the votes are counted. The organisation with the top votes gets £500; those in 2nd and 3rd place get £200 each. More information here.

How to apply

You can nominate a local project or charity by filling in the nomination form and sending it to the Community Champion at your local Asda store.

Deadlines for application

None, but every three months three new successful nominees are put forward for voting in Asda stores running the Green Token Giving Programme. Voting closes at the end of March, June, September and December.
