BBC Children in Need Small Grants
Grants available for: projects that support disadvantaged young people
Size of grants given: Up to £10,000 per year over 1-3 years (overall maximum £30,000).

Aims of Fund
To positively change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.
Who can apply
Grants are given to not-for-profit organisations working with disadvantaged children and young people aged 18 years and under, living in the UK. Your group needs to have strong safeguarding policy and practice, public liability insurance, and up-to-date accounts – follow this link for full details of their minimum standards for grantmaking.
How much and what can you apply for
Up to £10,000 per year for up to 3 years, for projects working with children and young people of 18 years and under experiencing disadvantage through:
- Illness, distress, abuse or neglect
- Any kind of disability
- Behavioural or psychological difficulties
- Living in poverty or situations of deprivation
How to apply
You will need to complete an online application. You do not need to complete the application all in one go, and can save it and go back to it as many times as you need to.
